SUMMER COURSE

Course master: Vlad Lanne – a multifaceted artist, director, writer, composer, and actor.

Vlad started his career as a composer and a poet.

He studied acting and directing in RGISI (www.rgisi.ru) and SPBGIKIT (www.gukit.ru) and later – completed his Master's degree in film directing at Prague-based FAMU (www.famu.cz) under Věra Chytilová supervision. His diploma movie film „Happy End“ received two Maxim.

For whom:

For those who need to make a short (up to 12 min), fiction, or documentary film over the summer.

For those who want to try themselves as a screenwriter / director / actor / producer / cameraman.

For those who plan to enroll in Higher education in one of the specialties mentioned above.

Since one of the goals of our intensive is to help those who have not yet decided on the choice of a film profession, a prerequisite for each student, in addition to completing general homework, is to participate in the coursework of other students in one capacity or another, according to their preferences - someone can help a friend with a script, someone as a director, someone with a camera, editing, music, etc.

The theoretical part of the course (June - July) consists of eight weekly three-hour group offline classes (2 times a week).

The practical part of the course (July - August) is devoted directly to shooting, editing, and color correction of the footage.

At this stage, each of the students (each film crew) has 2 hours of personal online/offline consultations with the course leader.

The course ends in early September with a festive evening - the premiere of the finished films of the graduates.
